Q. Is Jump On It Insured?
A. Absolutely! We have been inspected, and certified by The State of Texas as required by the Amusement Ride Safety Inspection and Insurance Act (Occupations Code Chapter 2151). We are fully licensed and insured. Beware, many of our competitors are not certified, or insured, and therefore are able to offer a cheaper rate. Better to be safe than sorry!
Q. Why do the prices of bounce houses vary from one company to another?
A. You get what you pay for. If you want a quality product that has the latest safety features delivered to you on time, and clean, then you may pay a little more than if you rented from someone who uses older, and less safe inflatables. We offer you a professional setup, and instructions by someone who has been trained, and certified by SIOTO (Safe Inflatable Operators Training Organization).
Q. Does Jump On It deliver to Parks?
A. We would be happy to deliver to a park as long as the park allows it, and it is the customer’s responsibility to purchase the permit before we set-up. A generator will be required, and the fee for this is $85 (includes full tank of gas). Waterslides cannot be setup in a park since there is no water supply available.
Q. Do you charge a delivery fee?
A. Jump On It is happy to offer FREE! delivery for services over $100 to anywhere in Bexar County. We also serve the surrounding areas for a small delivery fee. Please call us to ask for prices outside of Bexar County.
Q. Do you accept last minute reservations?
A. We are happy to offer last minute rentals as long as we have the unit available.
Q. Does Jump On It charge tax?
Yes, we charge sales tax, but it varies from city to city.
Q. What is the method of payment?
A. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Cash. NO CHECKS!**
Payment must be made in full at the time of delivery.
**For larger events such as schools or churches, we can make an exception to the no check rule. Please just give us a call to get it preapproved. Thanks!
Q. Where can a bounce house be setup? How much space is needed?
A. A bounce house requires a mostly level surface, and a lawn is ideal. It can also be setup on concrete or asphalt (secured by sand bags), but it cannot be setup on gravel or dirt. Customer’s responsibility includes: mowing the lawn prior to delivery, making sure the path is clear, and making sure the area is free of any land mines from the dog. An electrical outlet must be within 100 feet, but if there are none available then you can reserve a generator ahead of time.
Q. What time is pickup?
A. Pickup will by 8:00pm. Customers who want to play longer should let us know at the time of drop- off. Although we do our best to arrive at your selected pickup time, please note that pickups can take place up to 2 hrs after the selected pickup time, depending on where you fall on our route. We will work with you to ensure your satisfaction.
Q. What if I need to cancel?
A. If you need to cancel please let us know 48 hours in advance.
Q. What if it looks like it’s going to rain on the day of my event?
A. Jump On It has the right to cancel an event due to rain or severe (high winds exceeding 15mph) or a greater than 50% chance of rain or high winds. If the customer cancels the event due to weather conditions, it is the customer’s responsibility to call the evening before or by 8:00am on the day of the event.
Q. What if it rains while the bounce house is set up?
A. If winds exceed 15 mph, lightening occurs, or it begins to rain please clear everyone from the inflatable. After all participants are out, unplug the blower from the power outlet, and wait for the weather to subside. Please keep in mind that inflatables become very slippery when wet. We know everyone wants to get back to playing, but the inflatable must be dry before anyone can enter the unit. SAFETY is always the priority! In such an event, Please Call Us FIRST! so we can help you assess the situation.
Q. Do I need to do anything to prepare on the day of my event?
A. You can choose to call us to verify the estimated delivery time. If there are any changes or special requests please let us know. You can expect a professional delivery and setup. The person who made the reservation needs to be present to accept the equipment, and sign the Rental Agreement. By signing you are responsible for the equipment, and also making sure everyone follows the rules.
Q. Are there rules or guidelines to follow?
A. Yes. Your safety is very important to us, and that is why we created policies to help educate you on the proper use of our equipment. Signing the rental agreement makes you responsible for all the rented items. Please make sure all guidelines are followed.
Q. Are the bounce houses and other products clean?
A. Absolutely! We are parents, and we would not send out equipment that we would not feel comfortable using with our own kids. All of our equipment is thoroughly cleaned prior to each, and every delivery.
